It is a mountain state and has lots of trekking trails from the lower hills to the high altitude. The main trekking ares in Himachal are the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. Most trekking trails are through rugged and unspoiled terrain, dense forests and fast flowing streams. Photos of few treks in the state are presented here.
