Nestling in the awesome Himalayas in the Uttrakhand State, it is steeped in myths and legends. It is full of shrines, sacred rivers, sages and sadhus. Garhwal is beautiful area of hills and valleys, rivers and springs, meadows and snow clad mountains. It has lots of trekking trails and photos of some of these trails are presented here.
