Nepal is just across the Kali river from Dharchula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trek started below the Dar village, where a massive landslide cutoff the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial climb lead to cliff hugging trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Kumaon<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Goats are still used to carry loads, with each goat carrying 12-15 kg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wayside hotel at Bauling was reached in 2 hrs, village is not visible from the trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waterfalls everywhere are part of the trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tea shops at Urthing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hotels at Sela, the village is located on the other side of the Dhauliganga river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trail beyond Sela towards Nagling village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winter migration towards lower altitudes had started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Nagling village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the gate is seen the Baling village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well everyone works here.
When we returned after two days the lady had already moved down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The village of Dugtu with the Daktu village overlooking it from the other side of the valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we were crossing the bridge to reach Daktu village ,the Panchchuli group came in full view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Meola glacier coming down from the Panchchuli group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
