The Trek starts at Govindghat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flash floods had washed away the trail to the bridge, thus leaving it in the middle of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unable to proceed further, disappointed we return back to Bhyundar village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back to negotiations Govindghat for reaching the lake from other side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First night was spent at this school in Panka Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thick undergrowth made progress difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots of climbing with end nowhere in site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White out as we reach the ridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Camp just across the ridge, on a platform made by forest personnel. Further trail is behind the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camp struck down next day, while the clouds kept moving in and out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rocks of various shapes and sizes kept coming into view as the clouds moved around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The climb continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two platforms where we had spent sometime before moving on the trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trail was now free of thick undergrowth which had bothered us on first day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where is the trail, carefully we crossed this huge rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
