The land of Ladakh has been called ‘the moonland’, ‘little Tibet’. It has been the most remote Himalayan region of India till recently. Now due to road construction these areas can be reached with much less efforts. However, due to very high altitude and semi desert conditions it offers different kinds of trekking trails.
