Sai
Ropa Tourist Center, where you can stay and prepare to leave for the park.

School
kids are ready for another class after washing the wooden boards
at Gushaini, the road head from where the trek starts.

trek starts on a wide trail.

After
the last village the trails are narrow and less used.

We have
entered the park and its time to rest and have some tea.

Recent
floods have destroyed the bridge and so we cross the Tirthan river over logs.
We from the plains require some helping hand.

climb started after the Rolla hut as we moved on. Fallen trees were of immense
help.

Shilt Hut at 3100 meters.
