    Bali Pass-Dodi Tal
    A trek from Yamnotri to the pass taking one to the Ton's river valley. The second leg involved trekking across the Yamuna at Janki Chatti to Kharsali. The trail then climbs up the jungle and goes via Sonpara top and Darwa top to the famous Dodi tal in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand.

    Dhum Dhar Kandi
    A high altitude trek taking one from Bhagirathi river valley to the Tons river valley across high Himalayan pass. Starts from Jhala village 5 km before Harsil and finishes at Taluka.

    Kedartal
    A small but beautiful trek takes one form Gangotri to high altitude lake of Kedartal surrounded with high snow covered peaks of Thalay Sagar, Briguparvat and Jogin group.

    Madhyamashwer
    This is a trek on the pilgrim trek where facilities are available to make it easier to organise the trek. Starting from Okhimath it passes through the villages of Uniyana, Ransi and Gaundhar.

    Okhimath-Helang
    Want to add more adventure to Madhyamashwer trek then continue on the trail beyond the temple. It takes you to Helang via Kashni tal (bit of a diversion), Pandosera, Nandi Kund, Bansi Narayan temple and Kalpeshwar.

    Satopanth
    This is the trek to Satopanth peak and not the Satopanth tal. It goes beyond Gaumukh via Nandan van along the Chaturangi glacier to Vasuki tal below Vasuki parvat to the base of Satopanth peak. Excellent view if Shivling and Kedar dome peaks from Nandan van.

    A trek on the pilgrim trail from Gangotri which takes one across Gangotri glacier to the high altitude Pasture in the shadow of mighty Shivling peak and looking at Bhagirathi group across the Gangotri glacier.

    Panchchuli East BC
    One of the scenic treks which take you right below a beautiful group of Himalayan peaks. The trail goes along the Dhauliganga and passes the villages of Bauling, Urthing, Sela, Nagling, Baling, Dugtu and Daktu.

    Srikhand Mahadev
    A trek to the natural rock Shivling at the height of 5200 metres. This trail starts at Bathad village and goes via lush green forest before reaching the pilgrim trail coming from Bagi pul after crossing the ridge.

    Rakhundi Top
    Photos of a trek in the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP). Base camp is the Sai Ropa Tourist Bungalow where all the arrangements for the trek can be made. The actual trek starts from Gushaini village.

    Darcha - Padum
    The trek starts from Darcha in Lahoul and passes the villages of Rarig and Chikka before crossing over the Singo la and reaching the villages of Zanskar in Ladakh. It passes the villages of Kurgakh, Khee, Kuru, Teta Purne, Kyalbo, Reru before reaching Padum. A short diversion at Purne takes you to old and famous Phuktal Gompa built in a huge cave.

    Padum - Lamayuru
    This trek shows you that Ladakh is really a place of passes. You cross nearly six passes before reaching the road head at Lamayuru. One crosses Parfi la, Haluma la, Kupa la, Singi la, Bhumtse la, Sirsir la and Prinkiti la. One has the liberty to terminate the trek at Wanla but it is better to reach Lamayuru.

    Everest BC
    A trek to view the highest point on earth from Nepal. It can be undertaken by any fit trekker without much problem since all facilities are available till the very end. It follows the famous Sherpa villages and passes the villages/ camping sites of Lukla, Phakding, Namche Bazar, Thyangboche, Dingboche, Pheriche, Lobuje and Gorak Shep.

    Pindari & Kafni
    A trek along one of the oldest trekking trails in Kumaon Himalaya where old Dak Bungalows still stand in the service of the present day trekkers. The views of Nanda Devi East, Nanda Kot, Nanda Khat, Pawali Dwar, Panchail group, Baljori and Changouh are breathtaking. Khati is the last village on the trail.

    Pindari And Kafni

    Story of very old and popular trek with good facilities and excellent views of some of the known Himalayan peaks. It starts at Song village on the road head and goes via Loharkhet, Dhakuri top, Khati and Dwali from where the trails separate out for the two glaciers. Khatia on the way to Kafni and Phurkia on the way to Pindari have the last shelter and food other then Babaji Ashram and a hotel one km short of Zero point on Pindari trail.

    A trek on the pilgrim trail starting from Gangotri and passing through Chirbasa, Bhojbasa and Gaumukh.

    Kedartal
    A trek starting from the pilgrim centre of Gangotri and passing through Bhojkharak and Kedarkharak. The trail is high above the Kedar ganga. One has to be self sufficient on this trail as nothing is available after Gangotri.

    Harsil-to-Taluka
    This trek starts from Jhala village located on right bank of Bhagirathi and passes through Kiarkoti, Ratia and Ruinsara tal and across DhumDharKandi pass. It goes along Sian Gad for the initial two days and goes close to Yellow tooth and Kalanag peaks and offers excellent and close views of Bandarpunch peaks and the glaciers from camp at Arjun falls.

    Auden's Col
    One of the big treks in the Gangotri region. One has to be fully prepared with the climbing as well as camping equipment. Takes one from Gangotri to Kedarnath or Ghuttu. Goes via the Rudugaira valley and crosses the pass on to the Khatling glacier and then goes through the villages of Gangi and Reeh along the Bhilangna river, before reaching the road head at Ghuttu.

    Darcha-Padum
    It gets counted in the world's best treks and involves moving into the Zanskar region of Ladakh. One moves from Lahoul to Zanskar crossing the Shingo la. Some of the thrill of the trek has been lost as the old zhula bridges have been replaced with cement or steel bridges. Phuktal Gompa situated in a big cave above Tsarap Chu is a major attraction.

    Padum Lamayuru
    The trek takes you from the headquarters of Zanskar to the Leh-Kargil road at Lamayuru. Goes over seven high passes goes through Zangla, Pishu, Hanomil, Snertse, Lingshet, Photksar, Hanupatta and Wanla villages. Visit to Lingshet Gompa is of interest and the view of preciously situated Photksar village is awesome.

    Srikhand Mahadev
    A five day trek gives you all. The forests, the rivers, lake and high altitude terrain. You name it and you get it. The views are excellent and you can enjoy them without many to disturb you. There are three points from where the trek can be started.

    One of the oldest trekking trails in India. The views from the zero points on both the glaciers are awesome. Traill's pass is seen above the Pindari glacier.

    Okhimath-Helang via Nandi Kund
    A seldom done trek with beautiful view of Chaukhamba till on crosses down to the other side. The view of Himalaya from the ridge above Bansi Narayan temple is excellent with snow covered peaks in front led by Nanda Devi.

    Dodital
    This trek can be done throughout the year without much problem upto the tal and back. The Dodital is surrounded by thick jungle. Climbing up Darwa top one can go to Hanuman chatti following the trail on the mountain along the left bank of Hanuman ganga. At Dodital Forest rest house is available but not beyond it.

    Karakoram Pass Summer Route
    A seldom done trek it takes one on the old trade route between Leh and Yarkand. The actual trek starts from Sasoma in Nubra valley and crosses the famous Saser la before getting down to the upper Shyok river valley. It reaches the famous camping ground of Kalon Chumik before entering the Murgo gorge. As one ascends the Depsang la the sheer vastness of Depsang plains hit you. The travel beyond DBO is along the river bed before one finally climbs to the KK pass.
